La Cala de Finestrat

La Cala de Finestrat is a beach in the town of Villajoyosa, next to Benidorm's Playa de Poniente. The beach is very popular among people that don't like the busy Benidorm beaches. La Cala de Finestrat beach is about 300 meters long with fine, golden sand and very clear calm water. That is why every year since 1988 a blue flag is placed on the beach, it is a token of the European community that has been awarded for its original high-quality European quality.

Just like the beaches of Benidorm La Cala de Finestrat has an exceptional microclimate thanks to the fact that the beach is protected by the mountains from the wind from the south. The beach is also situated in such a way that visitors on the beach face the sun all day long without having to change places.

From the center of Benidorm, La Cala de Finestrat can be reached by bus lines 2 and 3. The trip will take you about 15 minutes. By foot the walk will take you about 50 minutes, just go all the way down the Poniente beach promenade. In the end, you will have to cross a part of the montaƱa de Benidorm to get to the beach.
