The charm of Benidorm

Benidorm is known to many people as a holiday destination for the elderly in the winter month and mass tourism in the summer months. But this is not entirely correct. Benidorm is a vibrant new city with also many activities for the younger generations the whole year-round.

Agreed, if you see images of Benidorm in the media, it is mainly the elderly who are portrayed. This is somewhat normal because retirees simply have more time to go on vacation. And they are right! You will also find them at other holiday destinations such as Tenerife, the Canary Islands, Marbella, and many others. In America, this is mainly Florida, for example.

There is nothing wrong with that, on the contrary, a holiday destination with many older tourists has the appearance of a destination with many social and medical facilities that will only benefit your stay there. You are well insured for help if something should happen to you.
That been said, Benidorm has a mix of all the best that a holiday destination can and should have: Always good weather, perfectly situated between interesting cities and tourist activities close by, modern infrastructure, a rich history and above all the advantage that Benidorm is not Island, so there are several possibilities to reach it without flying or having to take a boat. This of course if you live in Europe. Benidorm is also the favorite destination of the Spaniards themselves and not only of foreign tourists, which only benefits the mix of different nationalities.

That is just the charm of Benidorm. There is something for everyone! During the day a pleasant place where you can safely take your grandmother and at night a bustling city with all the necessary facilities to spend a good time with friends or hunt for your new love, and why not, a local Spanish conquest.
