A trip to the Jalón valley

The Jalón valley is mainly characterized by cozy Spanish villages. The valley is approximately 20 minutes from several coastal towns such as Calpe, Moraira, Altea, Javea, and Denia. Benidorm is a little further away. The traditional Spanish villages that make up this valley are Jalón, Alcalali, Parcent, Murla, and Benigembla, all of which guarantee a beautiful nature and optimal tranquility. Almond trees, orange trees, and olive trees grow in the area.

The valley is ideal for various outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, hiking, and horse riding. You are not that sporty? No problem! There are many terraces. If you like wine, the Jalón valley is also perfect for you. The valley is known for its sweet dessert wines; Muscatel and Mistella. Don't forget to visit one of the bodegas.

To plan a trip to the valley from Benidorm, the best option is a rental car, because the buses do not always run through these small villages and it also takes a very long time to get there.
