If you are in Benidorm and you walk along the recently renovated Avenida del Mediterráneo boulevard, you will find a new icon, a 22-meter high information column that can be fully illuminated and provided with information by means of 264 square meters of LED lighting.

The 22-meter high information column has been given the name 'Tecnohito'. This tower can be seen at the intersection between Avenida del Mediterráneo, Plaza Triangular and Calle Esperanto. It is an information column that is interactive and can show anything such as advertising, video images, photos, and texts or can be completely decorated in different colors.
On Saturday 14 May 2022, the 'Tecnohito' was already the gathering point for the Eurovision Song Contest fans who could see the historic performance of the Spanish entry Chanel and 'SloMO' there. A song that was chosen during the BenidormFest festival in the same city in January.
The information column will also be used in the future for many other festivities and holidays in Benidorm.
