This special police unit, run by the National Police and tourism professionals, offers crucial assistance to foreign tourists facing various situations during their stay.


What services does SATE provide?

Filing police reports: If you become a victim of a crime, such as theft or assault, SATE will guide you through the process of filing a police report. 

Document assistance: They can help with issues related to lost or stolen passports, credit cards, and other travel documents.

Communication and support: SATE can help you contact your embassy or consulate, communicate with family members back home, and even offer psychological support in difficult situations.

Other assistance: They can also assist with lost item recovery and provide general information and guidance.

Where is SATE located? The SATE office is conveniently located in Benidorm at Avenida Derramador, esquina C/ Gerona (opposite Hotel Flash). The building has two sides, one is the Police office and the other is a Tourist information center.

Opening hours: Summer (May 1st - September 30th): Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Winter (October 1st - April 30th): Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
